6/95 to Present    Private Practice in marriage counseling and anger management, 95 to 2001 Consultation and co director with Alternatives to Violence, Inc. which serves men who batter.  Consultant with Hope School, Springfield that deals with severely multiple handicapped children.  Assisted them in beginning community living homes and decreasing the residential population.

                               

6/95 to 6/00       6/95 to 6/00   Consultant with Medical University of South Carolina at PACT Project in Sumter and Two Community Service Boards in South Georgia, Consultant with the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill - PACT Inc.

                                Duties: Supervise nine staff of the Community Support Network in the direct care of seventy severe and persistently mentally ill patients.  Teach residents and medical students the fundamentals of psychiatry.  Major fields of teaching are Community Programs, Ethics of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.  Establishing the program as Medicaid eligible.

                                Duties:  Manage the daily operations and program planning of the Mental Health Programs, which included Day Treatment, Community Residences, and out patient programs for mental health and substance abuse.  A staff of 70 and a budget of over $2,000,000

                                Accomplishments:  Developed and maintained the following programs:  wrote the grant and built a HUD apartment program for severely mentally ill; Develop a Senior Citizens day program; Started three residential programs for the mentally ill; and began an assertive case management program (ACT).

                                Accomplishments:  Began a Day Treatment Program for the mentally ill and started a half way house

                                Duties:  Provided various out patient psychotherapy services for clients between the ages of 3 and 70.
